Hello-

We are three sisters who saved our father to kidney disease by placing an ad on Craigslist a year ago as we were incompatible to donate to him.

After a year and 4months, much publicity and over 100 responses, a woman from Monterey, California donated her kidney to our father. Today, both of them are doing amazing!

Our of our journey in saving our father, we figured if this were our challenge, it must also be the same challenge for thousands of others looking for that unique life-saver.

So, we launched a non-profit, " The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America" where we educate the world on kidney disease and organ donor awareness. Mostly, we provide matching services all across the US!

So far, Flood Sisters has matched 2, a 49yr old retired police officer and a 72yr old woman, mother of a LA comedy writer. Our third surgery is scheduled!

We would love to advocate for our cause on here!

Please see our media coverage on our first transplant-

You may contact me directly at 646-287-2900 to discuss.

Also, we know Chris Klug and his foundation! We sponsored their event last year and they rock!

Best,

Jennifer

My 4 yr old is autistic and its an everyday struggle. I noticed there was something different when he was 6 months old, While other babies babbled and cried to be held he was perfectly fine by himself in his playpen. then at 1 he still wasn't walking or talking. I had him evaluated and they said he was developmentally delayed. He never made any eye contact. Therapists worked with him and recommended a Developmental Specialist to evaluate him for Autism because he was displaying alot of the characteristics for the disorder and to have him tested for the Fragile X Gene. Turns out he was a carrier for the gene, and she diagnosed him as a High Functioning Autistic. We had him revalutated 4 times and got the same diagnosis. He started talking about 3 1/2 and now speaks pretty good. He has been going to school and enjoys the structure and learning. He's highly intelligent, and alot of work sometimes but I would have it any other way. Thank you for all that your doing.

I agree Cashowal. It definately showed their courage. They knew they needed to generate news when their voices where being silenced. Social media was the only way. We were fortunate to be apart of it.

I really think Twitter can be a positive tool for spreading awareness over social conflicts...it's been neat to see the people of Iran seek social media in times they face.

When it comes to the Animal Welfare Act's restrictions, they are already in place and zoos and aquariums go by them across the US. My point with Lolita is that the US has failed to respond to the Seaquariums violation of the Act. As with all violations, there should be a repercussion.

Thank you for your comment as it has highlighted where I was not clear in my writing.
